Coterie

"I wanted to do a collection that talks about my journey from late teens to my late 20's,

This journey is beautiful and requires a complete transformation from who you were to who you are today.
it is a turbulent time where you go on from being all in your head to redefining your life while finding your tribe.
Thus,coterie, since your core values eventually defines who you are and what your life will look like."

 

 

Coterie obviously refers to an exclusive social circle, but it can also refer to your exclusive/core values in my opinion.

When you are so guarded about your values, you hardly waver from your true identity. I think for a fulfilling life in today's time, these 4 values should ideally form the core.
- kindness on your socials
- being mindful in your chores
- staying connected to nature
- conscious and ethical buying/consumption.
